When you have at least 8 stars a ray of light will appear right as you walk into the castle. To look at the ray of light you have to be Mario. Go up the stairs to room number 1. Then walk straight to the double doors on the red carpet. This room should give you access to the rec room game and have Toad in it. There is a door marked "8" enter this door and unlock the double doors to access Mario. Go back to the "lobby" and look into the ray of sunshine. In the sky, jump on the big RED button in the center of the course. This button will unlock all the ? boxes on any of the remaing courses.
In the mario wings to the sky star, use the cannon that is closest to where the turtle is walking around. Shoot yourself up to the floating island. Get wings from the "?" box and get into the cannon on the island. Finally, get all the coins in the CENTER of the coin rings. Then you can get the star...it took me fOrEvEr to figure this out. Hope this works!
:) Jesus Saves.
(The part where it says you need Mario is only for the DS version. Because in 64 version you always have Mario, but you can claim that you are playing as another guy by using color code (only works for emulators.))
No,it is impossible to get Waluigi in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS.
To take off, you have to triple jump. The bad thing about wings is that you can't really go any higher then where you took off. Mario's balloon ability is for going higher. Wings are for gliding over open air.
no
You canβt play as luigi in Super Mario 64! Because he is not in the game

You have to go to the rainbow world as Mario . Mario will get wings on his hat and will fly.
It doesnt actually say "Hey Mario", when you look at it into a sky level where Mario is flying with a cap with wings.
Theres No Super Mario 64 For Wii.
Believe it or not, it was suppose to be out in late 1997. But it got a early release on June 1996 with a classic Super Mario 64, Pilot Wings and Mario Kart 64
You actually only need 12 stars to unlock the ? blocks and, therefore, wings.
what you have to do is unlock the red boxes. then if you're Mario if you hit one a feather might come out. grab the feather and you can fly!!!
To the final Bowser level, Bowser in the Sky.
press x and look at it then fly to the tower and stand on the ! switch
You can't "fly" in Super Mario 64 DS. But however, if you play as Yoshi you can hover, if you hold down the jump button. This is very useful for finding more stars.

you have to look up at the light in the foyer of the castle and you will get wings and you will get power flowers if you step on the switch on the tower.
