Run around him to his tail. Then grab his tail and swing him by rotating the analog stick in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. Let go of him while spinning and try to throw him into a bomb located on the side of the arena. You will have to battle Bowser three times throughout Super Mario 64 and he gets increasingly difficult.
