You don't convince them of a "play date" that stops around are 3-4...and the point of play dates is for parents to put kids together to play. You are up front with them and tell what you want to do with the other person, as well as when/why.

You probably won't be able to convince your parents to let you buy explicit music. You can have them listen to the music first and have them approve the songs they think are least objectionable.
I'd say work for it and raise the $26.95 yourself. Or set a goal for something you want to do. and then your parents could agree to buy it for you if you reach the goal
That's tough. The way I managed to convince them was to show them a Teen rated game like Goldeneye, and then an M rated game like Halo, to show them that there isn't that much of a difference between the two.
