If you would like to change your NAT type from strict or moderate to open it first depends on your router, (linkseys, Netgear) For both use a wired or Ethernet computer and type 192.168.1.1 in the web address. Then it will ask for a user and pass, which is usually; USER: admin PASS: password unless you have changed it. From then on it depends what router you have so with that i can answer.
Im not exactly sure but I think you can go to Private match and change it there.
mine is open or moderate however, when my internet is 'lagging' its strict, i dunno what this is, please help.
Test your xbox live connection in network settings and your nat type is open
It has all got to do with your NAT Type. If your NAT Type is Open then it is using WiFi. If your NAT Type is Strict then it is using your Internet Connection.
To check if your NAT type is open in Modern Warfare 2, you can go to the game's settings and look for the network settings option. An "Open" NAT type allows for the best connectivity and matchmaking experience. If your NAT type is "Moderate" or "Strict," you may need to adjust your router settings or enable UPnP to improve it. Additionally, ensure that your firewall settings are not blocking the game.
You need to access the settings on your router.
Set your NAT type, to "open".
this could be to do with ur NAT settings on ur wifi router. before u click what type of game u want to join there will be a thing saying nat: strict or nat: open. if it is strict u need to go into ur wifi hub and change the settings.
Using an Ethernet connection can help improve your NAT type, but it does not guarantee an open NAT. Typically, a wired connection provides a more stable and reliable internet connection, which can reduce latency and packet loss. However, the NAT type is primarily influenced by your router settings and network configuration. To achieve an open NAT, you may need to configure port forwarding, enable UPnP, or adjust your router's firewall settings.
No.l
by changing it
To set your NAT type to "Not Joinable" in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3), you'll need to adjust your router settings. First, access your router's settings through a web browser, usually by entering the router's IP address. Look for the NAT settings and change the NAT type to "Strict" or "Moderate." Additionally, ensure that your console or PC has a static IP address and that the appropriate ports for MW3 are blocked or not forwarded.
You can't. It is set by the wireless provider, in this case Cricket, and is usually there for security reasons.
It could be settings on one of the Xbox. Go to settings and test the Xbox Live connection. Auto configure it back to the original settings. It should fix the problem.
