After you choose 1 go to prof oak he'll give you bulbasaur charmander or squirttle after you pick one, go to mr.Pokemon he'll give you red orb (Soulsilver) blue orb (Heartgold) than you fly to cianwood city in johto you surf to emmeheded tower you go straight in and you'll see Groudon (Soulsilver) Kyogre (Heartgold) Hope this helped :)
congrats, you are 80% correct, except that its game-red, not manga red, not ash. red is NOT IN ANYWAY ASH. just pointing it out. and you don't need to get the magnet pass. just beat both champs(elite 4 and champ once, red once) and then get one starter from oak. go to mr Pokemon's house and he'll give you the orb. also, get both games hg and ss to get both kyogre and groudon, then tak to mr Pokemon and he'll give you a third orb, wich going back to embedded tower, makes rayquaza appear. good luck catching all 3 o'em!
