Okay, I have some helpful information. Marill is only found at the entrance of the cave. The odds of finding one is 1 in 100 or 1%. I counted 95 pokemon before I finally found Marill. You can also follow the instructions above, but some of us don't want to wait for a phone call. Just remember what I said about marill only being at the entrance. So just enter the cave and walk back and forth. I hope this helps others.
