How do you beat wake in Pokemon Platinum?

use electric type Pokemon

I really struggled with this battle until i went to great marsh and caught a tangela. it's a special attack Pokemon so it's mega drain is hugely effective against floatzel and quagsire, also it can learn shockwave which is quite effective against gyarados.

i levelled mine to 30 before the battle.

my party was:

lvl 30 Tangela: posion powder, vine whip, shockwave, mega drain

lvl 30 Kadabra: teleport, recover, confusion, psybeam

lvl 30 Gabite: dragon rage, sandstorm, take down, slash

lvl 30 Staravia: thief, endeavor, aerial ace, fly

lvl 30 Ponyta: fire spin, take down, flame wheel, ember

lvl 32 Prinplup: grass knot, fury attack, bubblebeam, metal claw
