You need a GBA link cable and you need to follow these steps: After forming your battle team to battle your friends go upstairs in any Pokemon center and talk to the lady behind the far left counter she will ask to save your game say yes then connect the link cable to the other GBA and have your friend do the same steps as above once your both done and connected press A on the GBA that tells you to do so it may be yours or your friends keep pressing A until your inside the room stand on the colored lights to start the battle!
