It's similar to how you age sims. Have the boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled true cheat on. You have to have a sim selected, then simply shift click on a puppy and choose the "SET TO BIRTHDAY" option. Hope it works, did for me!

Well the npc sims must be set to different ageing times if you go to options you can choose a short life,medium life or a long life. It will tell you then how long your sime will live . Really hope this helps : ) !!

You pull up the Cheat Box using control, shift, and C all at once. Then you type in AgeSimsCheat on. Then you click on the sim and it will come up with a thing that says set age, and you click which ever age group you want her/him at.

just intead of wait for them to throw a party when they it says o day age up just give them a birthday cake and make wishes but you can only do it once a day. hope it help try it worked for me
