How do you adopt on The Sims 2?

If you would like to adopt on the sims2 you must do the following:1. Make sure your family has at LEAST one ADULT OR YOUNG ADULT sim. Teenagers may NOT adpot a child

2. Make sure you have a working teleohone in your house

2. Have at least 3,000 simolens (if low on funds you can press Ctrl+Shitft+C and type in kaching (gives you 1000) or motherlode (gives you 50,000)

3. Next call "services" on the phone and go to Adoption Service.

4. Say "yes" you want to adopt, and then you pick if you want a baby, toddler, or child. Click the age group you want. You cannot pick the adopted baby, toddler, or child`s gender. Then if you have at least 3,000 simolens you will be accepted and the Adoption Agencey will drop of the kid the next morning at 10:00 AM. Be sure to pick up the kid.

NOTE: If you do not have the money, they will deny you saying you are not the proper parent..... BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

The baby, toddler, or child you adopt will come in any random skin tone, any gender, and will have any personality, and aspiration. Also you cannot choose the name. You CANNOT adopt a teen. This can only be done for sims2 PC or MAC! NOt other systems like ps2, etc. You can not do this on sims1 for computer either. You can only adopt up to a certain amount.
