How do i reach in the 7 gym to the gym leaderin Pokemon crystal?

Leave Ecruteak City Via the East exit, follow the path towards Mount Mortar but don't bother going in, surf across the two lakes then follow the road further East, you will reach Mahogany Town in which you help Lance defeat team Rocket and fight your rival (both are easy if you have tough Pokemon) then you can enter the gym in the bottom left of the Town. Pryce uses Ice Pokemon so take along a Fire Pokemon (if you started with Cyndaquil this battle is a cinch, also use electric attacks against his first two (Seel and Dewgong, Fire attacks work against Piloswine)
Before defeating team rocket you must go north to the lake of rage and defeat/catch the red gyrados, then talk to the guy standing there, this is Lance and you two will defeat team rocket (he will also be the Champion of the Elite four and you have two fight his 6 Pokemon team, 3 of which are dragonites.
