If you want to play the game you must buy it and play it on the proper system.
You can not marry Rock in Harvest Moon Frantic Farming. Rock is not a character in that game. Getting married is also not an available feature. Harvest Moon Frantic Farming is just a puzzle game. If you want to marry Rock you can play Harvest Moon: DS Cute. Which is a different game for the DS. You could also get Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life for the Gamecube.
That depends on which Harvest Moon game you are playing. Most of the Harvest Moon games go on for as long as you play it though.
In Harvest Moon DS you can only be a male character. There is a female version of that game called Harvest Moon DS Cute. If you want to play as a girl you must get that game, and not the regular Harvest Moon DS.
Depends on the harvest moon you are currently playing, i believe one of the playstation2 harvest moon games has some sort of internet play (by play i mean trading livestock ect) Almost all/all of the harvest moon games for the DS ( and yes i include rune factory as a harvest moon game) have wifi play, which enables trading and minigames, infact Runefactory 1 requires you to use wifi to be able to marry one of the bachlorettes Most/all harvest moon games before the DS do not have internet/wifi play I believe the new wii harvest moon game has internet play. dispite what the previous answer claims, you can not use internet play for any of the harvest moon games using an emulator (Epsxe has internet play, but does not work often, PCSX (ps2 emulator) does not have internet, in fact the only emulators that harvest moon can be played on that has internet connection is the SNES, but said game does not have any sort of trading option. Though, i believe one of the old versions of no$gba did have internet support for the gba portion not the ds, and there is some very -limited- internet support for VBA, and currently no DS emulators have internet play either) so you have to have the original platform for the game to be able to play internet games/access internet content.
As of August 2014, "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life" is not available for download. It is only available to play on console.

It does that cos' it likes you, or it wants you to play with it, or.....it's hungry......which i am right now...
I assume you mean boy versions of Harvest Moon games. In all Harvest Moon games aside from Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life, you play a boy character. In Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility, and Harvest Moon: Animal Parade (Not yet released), you have the option of being either gender. :)
If you want to play the game you must buy it and play it on the proper system.
Most Harvest Moon games either force you to play as a boy or let you choose your gender. There are only a few games where you must play as a girl. If you have More Friends of Mineral Town, Back to Nature for Girls, Another Wonderful Life, or Harvest Moon DS Cute you are stuck playing as a girl. There are boy versions of all those games. So just make sure to get the boy version. Back to Nature, Friends of Mineral Town, A Wonderful Life, and Harvest Moon DS.
No. You can only play as the original main character throughout the entire game. You never get to be anyone else.
Play, cuddle, and show him a lot of different things. This will make him interested in different careers, and it will show him that you care.
Harvest Moon Magic Melody and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. In Harvest Moon: Magic Melody you get to run your own farm and form relationships in the village. There is a wide range of bachelors and bachelorettes but you have to unlock them. In Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life has a different concept but you just basically run a farm while creating your own family. Unfortunately you have to buy a separate game disc to play a certain gender. Although in each game disc (doesn't matter if your a boy or girl) you could only have 3 bachelors/bachelorette.
