No. Not that I know of, anyway. In Animal Crossing games you can only play as a human. I think it would make the game more interesting if there was an option to be an animal, though! Although there is no apparent way of being an animal on Animal Crossing, you CAN buy items of clothing (For example, the 'bunny hood') that make you look like an animal.
