How can you break into a sims house on the sims3?

Accually you can thaks to the Ambitions expansions pack. Become a Detective (i am not sure if you have to get to a certain 'level' in your career. Just simply click on the door you wish to break into (it only works if no one is at home), then click break in. It is very amusing but the downside is almost every time the sim who lives there comes home before you can break in. And of course you have to stop. Them coming come doesnt surprise me becaus eunlike sims 2, sims 3 is a family friendly game which makes it a lot less interesting :/ but its still awesome! I hope this helped!

You can also press control + shift + c to bring up the cheat window. From there enter testingcheatsenabled true. Then find the house you want to break in to. Press control + C to to teleport yourself down the street. Then look in the window of the house. Press control + c and click somewhere inside to teleport into the house. I get shoed out so it's best when no one is home or it is a house no one owns.
