yeah if u have university then u can choose the showbiz career path. if you want to get to the top of your career path qucker open the cheat box in neighbourhood mode and type 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' then go to the family hold shift and click on the newspaper, set career level then chose the level you want.
You also can if you go to the FM downtown in Sims2 Nightlife and go to the Karaoke machine upstairs. Soon people will watch you and if have high charisma the manager will give you the fame job.
