Wonder Guard is an ability that only lets super-effective moves damage the Pokemon. Spiritomb and Sableye have no weaknesses, so beating them would be almost invincible. (Only Ninjask is supposed to have this ability, the only way to get it on another Pokemon is to use either a move like Role Play or use some sort of cheating device)

It's quite tricky to damage these Pokemon, but there are a few ways:

  • Status effects like Burn/Poison
  • Weather effects like Sandstorm/Hail
  • Hazards like Spikes/Stealth Rock
  • Moves like Foresight to ensure next hit works
  • Abilities like Mold Breaker to disable Wonder Guard
  • Abilities like Rough Skin to return damage
  • The Pokemon hurts itself, like recoil or Struggle

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
