How Can one make a Pokemon ROM without knowing hex codes and all that junk?

This will show you how to hack with some more detail.Making a Pokemon game is not easy so I decided to use details.

The VBA (Visual Boy Advance) Is used to play the game online.You may need to extract it from winzip/winrar after download.So right click and extract.The same goes for the ROM.Now,to play the Rom on the VBA you must open the VBA, click file, then click open and then you select your ROM.This is only how to play the Rom.

The tool advance map will help you to map out the place.when you open Advance Map Click the Black button with the arrow on it and select your ROM like you did with the VBA.You must then select the place you want to map and start editting.

Advance text is a little trickier but its easy once you get the hang of it.You load your Rom just like the VBA.Now this step is tricky.If you have Firered/Leafgreen/Emerald it is a little easier.You select the place at which a person the person you want to edit stands,you click on that person,you remove everything they have written and Put in a script of you own.For Ruby/Sapphire you have to use the search option.Select search and type in something they say (case sensitive).

I recomend clicking the little box which says "go to the begining of text" .If your results match what you are looking for simply save it to A-Text and edit it.

Elite map needs a longer explamation than A-text but I will shorten it up.The only tools in this folder you really need are RS Ball,unLZ GBA and PET.to make elite map work you need to put your ROM into the folder so you go into your roms folder,right click everything,cut and paste into elite map.Now double click RS ball.Under export you will see poke.bmp.Under that you will see Dump GFX bank.Click that.Then you will need to click the right arrow near export and then click dump BFX again.That is all you need to do with RS ball.Then we go over to PET.With this you can edit a trainer (not you) their Pokemon their looks and even their name.You just select a trainer,edit them and save!It couldn't be easier.

unLZgba is usedto edit how trainers look during a battle.You can only edit you back Sprite in ruby sapphire.Open unLZ, go to 1200 or somewhere there (depending on your ROM)take it for an example .Select Save as and save it somewhere.WAITT!!!!!Do not exit unLZ after doing this.Now find what you exported,right click it, select edit and do any crap you want.When your done you go back to unLZ and you import it and WHALA!its changed!

Advanced Starter does not really need an explanation.Load your ROM,and do what your intincts tell you.

Advanced Mart is easy if you actually think.Load your ROM and select a town.Select a yellow Pokeball and choose what Item you want.To change the price you click tools, then item editor,select the item you want again and change the price.As simple as that.You can also change the name while your at it.

Overworld editor.Load your ROM.Select a person.Color it however you want it.when your ready to edit some more click the right arrow under frames and select yes.Continue editting like this and practicing, you should be a master overworldeditor.
