Yes, Band Hero Instruments are Compatible with Rock Band 2. And Rock Band 2 Instruments are compatible with Band Hero. Band Hero and Guitar Hero 5 ( when using the Rock Band 2 Drum) will display only the four pads (red, yellow, blue and green), and you can use the foot pedal. It does NOT have the issue it had with World tour (The Orange cymbal issue). If you use Band Hero Instruments on Rock Band 2. It will work but you will never have to use the orange cymbal. Extra Info (For PS3 Only) :Any Guitar Hero Drums Kit is Incompatible with Rock Band 1. However You can transfer all but three songs from RB1 to RB2 buy purchasing the export key from the PlayStation Store ( You must have the Rock Band 1 Game to transfer songs, you can borrow it or rent it just to transfer the songs and you won't need it afterward unless you Ps3 hard drive fails or something to that effect)

the only news so far is that it could be for a foot pedal expansion, but none have been released yet, and that seems kinda pointless anyways. So, basically it's there in case the developers feel like using it.
Plantar fascia is part of the foot. It is the thick tissue on the sole of the foot.
No, because World Tour drum sets have three drums and two symbols, instead of four drums and a foot pedal like Rock Band.
Yes. (Only if you buy the actual drums, then the foot pedal will come with the drums.)
You can plug in your drum foot pedal and hit the pedal to activate overdrive.
No. Because the plug is different on both foot pedals. I tried and it didn't work
When a purple line appears, it means you need to press the foot pedal.
There is no foot pedal for the actual console; however there are PSP2 games that require a foot pedal like the drums for RockBand.
A DS1 pedal is a device that guitar players press down on with their foot. When they do this their guitar makes distorted noises and other sound effects.
Depends on what sort of foot pedal it is. If it is an effects unit like Tonelab or a wah pedal, you connect the tonelabs output to the input on the guitar amp. If it is a channel switcher, they might not be cross-compatible.

, the best answer i can give you is yes, due to the companies using the same method of playing each game ( rock band, guitar hero Etc.) But for optimal experience it is reccomended you use the Guitar hero drum kit due to rock band drums only having four pads, and to enjoy the game to its full extent its advisable to use guitar hero drums. I use the Rock Band drums on all of the music based games, i only recommend you get a modded foot peddle, they break easilly.
