Does the hair you download from The Sims Resource show on The Sims 3?

You must have the sims launch open, and the hair/whatever, must be installed on to the sims. Also, you must be logged on in your launcher!

Why won't the custom content for the sims 2 downloads show up?
you have to extract the files 1. go on a website like modthesims2.com , xmsims.com , peggysims.com and loook for a download you want 2. Once you find one press download... BUT REMEMBER if it has a mesh you MUST download that first whether you like it or not!!! ** you download the mesh the same way** 3. After you press download, something should pop up. Click save NOT OPEN!!! then another thing will show up and then you click save AGAIN! 4. once again, something else will pop up and then you want to press open folder. IT should bring you to the Sims 2 folder but if not... go to start, click on documents, go under the EA games folder, then click on the sims 2... you should have a downloads folder but if you don't, just add one. If you do have one, your download should be in there already. If you don't, it will be under the Sims 2 folder randomly placed... if you didn't have a download folder, just cut, NOT COPY the download and put it into your new folder and open the folder. paste the download into the downloads folder... now you have your download in your folder. 5. right click on your download under your sims 2 download folder and click extract files... then something will pop up and you will click ok or yes ( depends on your computer) then something will pop up, exit out of that then press delete enter and it should show up on your sims 2 game. If you open your Sims 3 launcher, it should be in the Downloads section. From there, you can install it. If it does not show up in Downloads, you can always download it from the Store again without having to repay the SimPoints that it cost.
I have tried everything to get the downloads onto my sims 2. i download the meshes if needed and have extracted the files and put them into there right downloads folder. but doesnt show in game still?
I do not know of the above mentioned website, but I do know a few places who have really good custom content for Sims 2. One is thesimsresource.com they have many creators there that put out stuff for sims 1,2, and 3. Another is modthesims2.com I think they have the best makeup and sims out there but they do have alotttt of other great stuff too. For hair I really like xmsims.com They have some really great hair there and it is free :) Just make sure you download the mesh to each hair though or they will not work. ok that will get you started and if you want more stuff just go to google.com and type in sims 2 downloads and you will get lots of sites! By the way all the places I mentioned are places that do have a membership but also have great items for free too.
How do you download sims stuff from raon sims?
In order to DL stuff from that Sims2 site, you must have an active user account to the site and be logged in. Then, you can look through the objects, click on the ones you want to download and go from there. Just be sure that if you are getting recolors, that you havae the meshes for the objects first or they won't show up in game.

How do you get black butler on the sims 2?
You download them. I can give you the download link to MOST everyone on season 1. However I myself am still looking for Alois and Claude. I am also trying to figure out how to get some of the Black Butler sims to work such as Ciel cause his eye patch and such won't show up and the undertakers hat wont work. I'm wondering if maybe I'm missing something.
