Not currently. But remember, mame emulators are only for older coin-op arcade games.
Once you have the downloaded rom "run and gun 2 (ver UAA)" usually identified as rungun2.zip and about 18 megabytes, you also need to download the parent rom, system GX (a Konami rom) usally found under konamigx.zip. This rom is needed for all Konami games to run. Place both files, still zipped, in your rom folder in the mame directory.
Firstly, I'd suggest to either get a windows shelled MAME program, or get a mame frontend for your MAME 0.142. The MAME binary program you have is a command line running executable (it's ran by entering various command codes in a dos like window), it's very technical and unweildy. A MAME program ran in a windows shell or a frontend are loads easier to manage and launch. My suggestions for a windows shelld MAME program is to look up the program called IV Play. it's free and you can search the site for the appropriate MAME version you need. A frontend, is a program that you launch to run the MAME 0.142 binary for you in a menu format. You just install the frontend, setup the directories so it knows where your MAME 0.142 program is at. Then just use the friendly interface frontend. Two excellent frontends to try: GameEx, it's free and has a nice setup program. And Maximus Arcade, it's free for the fully functioning trial program. Once that is set up, locate and download some romsets. Place the zipped files into the rom folder in your MAME 0.142 folder, it should be labeled "ROMS". Do Not unzip the roms, just leave them like they are, your MAME can handle it. Start up the frontend, load a rom from the list, and play!
A ROM in general is .. well the file of the game. You need to put it on an emulator, like VBA, or download it on to a cartridge to work it.
Which ROM your using? If your using a Pokemon Emerald ROM, some of them don't work for VBA.... please respond to tell me that's same with my fire red version, when i try 2 play it the screen just stays white
You place a MAME compatable rom, still zipped up, imto the ROMs folder wherever you installed the MAME directory. Make sure your MAMe32 program points to the correct directory locations.

First, install a MAME frontend to your mame program if it doesn't already have one. It makes things so much easier. The core MAME program is a slightly unweildly command prompt program. The frontend will make the interface menu driven. Try a program like, "VI Play". Make sure your romset is in the ROM folder in the mame file group. Select "file" from the top of your opened MAME program and frontend, and "Load" or "Load rom". Navagate to where you have your rom folder (If you haven't set the directory in the program yet). and select your still zipped rom file (don't unzip the files, leave as is).
MAME is as family-friendly as your ROM collection. There are third-party programs which may be employed to make your collection more family-friendly, such as Mame Content Manager: http://mcm.mameworld.info/
Once you locate a game rom (a zipped game file of the exact files of the original games chipset), and if you've installed mame correctly, you place the unzipped file in the ROM folder the program created.

You can't. The mame emulator is for coin-op arcade games only. However, there are free genesis emulators that will play genesis rom files pretty accurately, just like a mame emulator would.
Locate and download carnevil rom versions 1.0.1(128 kb) and 1.0.3 (1.6 gb). You'll need both rom zip files to play the game. Place them in your ROM folder in the MAME directory, where ever you installed the program files.
you have to put the .chd file in a seprate folder and name it carnevil arrange the folders like this in the roms folder c: mame/roms/carnevil.zip c: mame/roms/carnevil/carnevil.chd hopefully you get it to run
It could be many reasons and each game has specific issus. The rom set for the game might be missing a file, or is corrupted, try downloading again. It might be that the particular game romset isn't 100% compatible yet, with the version of MAME you're using. If you are using the latest MAME program, it just might be that the emulator hasn't fixed that issue yet. Is it for one particular game or all games have no sound?

WinKawaks or, widely known as Kawaks, has 3 sets of ROMs that can be emulated. Neo-Geo, CPS1 & CPS2. If you're looking for a ROM that runs on WinKawaks, you'll need to search that ROM in a manner like this: Assume that we're looking for Three Wonders (a CPS1 ROM). We'll go to our favorite search engine and enter something like this, "three wonders cps1 rom" & we'll most likely get the ROM in the first few results. But, if you're looking for some good ROM sites, I suggest RomHustler or maybe ROMFreaks. http://www.rom-freaks.net/ http://www.romhustler.net/
