Shiny Dittos will not transform to a shiny Sprite to its opponent.
But if it transformes into a shiny pokemon, the transformed ditto becomes the shiny pokemon, not the normal pokemon.
Ex: Red Gyrados vs Ditto
If ditto uses transform, it will turn into a Red Gyrados.
When the battle ends, the ditto will not be shiny.
But in Gen. 2, I think it does turn shiny if you catch the transformed ditto... XD
