you don't need a master ball. i caught mine without it. it is hard to catch, but the Pokemon is worth it. try putting it to sleep, or paralzing it, and putting his health into red (without killing it). Also, make sure you save before to talk to him, otherwise if you kill him by accident, he's gone.
