You do not need to be a member to wear a fishing skillcape, however you do need to be a member to aquire the skill cape.

you can find the person that gives you firemaking skillcape around camelot and catherby he is useally around the beehaive or near there talk to him and buy the cape and hood for 99000gp and you've got yourself a skill cape but as you know you need 99 firemaking to get and to wear the cape gl on finding him =)

yes you do, but you dont need to be a member to wear it. you cannot, however, change or put on a skillcape in the free world. Just like anyother member item you can wear it in freeworld.

No a non-member cannot wear a ring of stone or any other member item, when you take a member item from a Member server to a Free To Play server, the name of the item changes to "Member's Item" (regardless of which item it is) and it cannot be used. If you have Member's Items equipped when you transfer to a Free To Play World these items will show, but they will provide no combat stats. The only way to use something that resembles member's items is to get Corrupt Dragon items. They are identical to dragon equipment only members can use, with the exception of not being able to perform special attacks. Unfortunately, most of them cost a few million and it disappears in thirty minutes.

You can only equip them on a member's server. Once you equip them, you can continue wearing them; the problem is that when you take them off, you can't put them back on again. If you are missing a membership, please note that you can buy it with in-game wealth - by buying and redeeming a bond.
