When a monster attacks a defense position monster with DEF equal to to the attacking monster's ATK, no damage is inflicted to either player's Life Points and no monsters are destroyed in battle. Some monsters have effects that activate before or after they battle, so you must take those into account as well.
Well, you just kill monsters. Put your attack into defend mode, and then you will get defence exp. Check what is your denfence level in the skills page.
Yes, you can build a Dungeon and place monsters in it, which you can then attack.
It can evolve three ways: Hitmonlee (more Attack and Speed, but bad physical defense) Hitmonchan (good Attack and decent defense, lower speed) Hitmontop (Equal Attack and Defense, which are decent, lower speed) It will evolve at level 20. If its Attack is higher than its Defense, it will become Hitmonlee. If its Defense is higher than its Attack, it will become Hitmonchan. If its Defense and Attack are equal, it will become Hitmontop.
If the attacking monster is switched into Defence position, the attack ends. Damage Calculation is not entered, you do not compare the monsters' ATK or DEF.
