I'd say yes, some of them do. For example, shooting games make you more familiar with guns, while madden improves your knowledge of football. Really just depends on what game your playing, as I don't think playing games like Dragon Ball Z will make you smarter.

Also....(this is added by me).....some games like games you listen to what they say and you see the words on the screen...........yeah.....it made me able to read giant books.

i don't think so. its make you more unsmart because you spend your all time in playing video games instad doing some exercises or do some more healthy things.

yes the above lines absolutely correct. playing Video Games makes us more smarter but some of them.for example pool mania a game makes us smarter in playing billards in reality and Mario and sonic games does not make us smarter. but from the another view we should not play video games instead we should do some physical exercises and should do some practical work or sit and study.
