the boolprop cheat is a shortcut way of testing certain things that the creators built in as a way of doing things more quickly (instead of having to go and buy clothes on a community lot to see if the tuxedo is showing correctly you can just have your sim dress that way in a couple of clicks) to make sure there were no faults in the games code. It doesn't unlock new clothes, per se, but, if you have used the cheat already whilst playing during a session of playing the sims 2, and then go to the Create-a-sim screen and press shift N while its loading, it WILL unlock all of the built-in skins and clothes for all the Non-playable characters (maid/policeman etc)
