Goku goes to hell twice. The first time is in DBZ Episode 8 - Home For Infinite Losers. While travelling along snake way he falls off. The second time is in DBZ GT. Episode 42 (or 84 if u go by titles) Die, Goku!! The Revived Strong Enemies Escape From Hell. He travels to hell to prevent Dr Gero and Dr Myuu from releasing their versions of android 17 back on the world which can/will combine into Super 17. Goku escapes hell in episode 45 (90) Hurry, Goku!! The Plan to Escape From Hell, with the help of picolo who remains trapped in hell to secure goku's escape. Hope this helps
