When the screen says, "This Pokewalker has already been registered" or something similar, it means that Pokewalker has been registered to a different game card. In order to send your Pokemon on a stroll with that Pokewalker, follow the instructions below. On the menu screen, select "Connect to Pokewalker". This will take you to the Pokewalker menu. On this screen, hold the DOWN button, the X button, and the L button. This will give you a warning to reset everything on the Pokewalker. Select Yes, and follow the instructions given to reset all the data on the Pokewalker. This will not delete your Routes, however. Afterwards, follow the on screen directions to register your Pokewalker again. This will allow you to send Pokemon on a stroll in the Pokewalker again. If your Pokewalker gets broken or lost with a Pokemon on a stroll, on the Pokewalker menu, hold the UP button, the SELECT button, and the R button to force your Pokemon back into it's PC Box in the HeartGold or SoulSilver game. Take note you will not receive the items and Pokemon you found.
Take the plastic strip out of the PokeWalker and hold the Center Button for a few seconds. A symbol should pop up. To actually activate the PokeWalker, turn on your DS, choose "connect to PokeWalker" in the menu before accessing your save file. Choose a Pokemon, and put the Pokewalker right next to the DS Game Card. When the DS is trying to connect to it, hold the center button for a few seconds and the transfer will occur. (Make sure there are batteries in the PokeWalker first).

Your friend will now have your Pokemon.4. get your friend to send the Pokemon to YOUR pokewalker.5. release the rubbish Pokemon. It is a bit time consuming, but I hope it helps!
there are quite a few advantages to owning an XBOX 360. firstly, there is the hard drive, which is clearly superior to any kind of external memory card of any type, considering you can get up to 120GB of memery in the XBOX elite. also there is the fact you can have gamer profiles. this stops any confusion, as individual game saves can be saved to different profiles, stopping any arguments of "who overwrite my game save on this memory card?" it also has legendary graphics, and XBOX exclusive games. there you go. advantages of XBOX, courtesy of me, Scott.
well if you have put a Pokemon on it and you want to put it back on the game you turn on soulsilver/heartgold and choose Connect to Pokewalker. Then, choose the button that says Return from Stroll, then it will ask you to connect the pokewalker,to do that you press one of the arrows and go through the menu screen and choose connect.(MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU CHOOSE CONNECT THAT THE TOP OF THE POKEWALKER IS POINTED AT THE GAME CARD) but if you just want to send over money and gifts then you just have to choose Receive Gifts and do what i told you in the parentesis (i think that's how you spell it) hope this helps!
Pokewalkers are registered the to the individual game card itself over its IR capabilities. If that game card is put into another DS, then it still uses the same pokewalker. If another HG/SS card is put in the original DS, it needs its own pokewalker.

It's very simple. Put said Pokemon in the box. Save and soft reset. (start, select, two long buttons, I think it's L and R) Click "Connect to Pokewalker" and select it from the box. Wait a second. Then, on the pokewalker hit the middlebutton, press the pokewalker and aim it at the DS card.

From the Main Menu, select 'CONNECT TO POKEWALKER'. Now press 'R' while holding 'up' and 'select'. Select yes to the caution screen. Now you just need to register the PokeWalker with the game again and it should work.
Turn on your heartgold/soulsilver regularly, but don't click your saved file. click connect to pokewalker. click go for a stroll. select a Pokemon from your PC and select a route (the route doesn't usually matter, but there are 2 different kinds at first. then follow the instructions it gives you. it might take a few tries to get the Pokemon on the pokewalker. make sure the top screen/part of your ds is up so there is a clear path for the pokewalker to connect to the game card through! HOPE THIS HELPED :D
One (1).
Hope you get lucky! you cant pick, I'm an old lady! XD
Yes, you can. You have to do it from your game. In the pokewalker's instruction manual, there is a section on how to reset it with more details. To reset it, hold down X and L on the "connect to pokewalker" screen. It will ask you if you really want to delete your data. After you choose yes, the pokewalker will return to the happy face screen it had when you first opened it. You can now set it up with a new game card, or on the same game card with a new file, or the old file, or whatever else you wan to do. Setup is the same as when you first got it, and the game will retell how to set it up again.
1. Turn on your DS 2. Click on your heart gold game. 3. On the menu screen click on 'connect to pokewalker' 4. It will come up with stuff you can do. 5. Choose which one you want to do and hold the pokewalker next to your game card when it says connecting to pokewalker. You should have connected by now. If it doesn't work it might be broken. Hope I helped!
You start the game and on the title screen with the stuff that says start game and new game you scroll down until you see connect to pokewalker. Get your pokewalker. Press the middle button and wait. There will be a smile on the screen. You have to have a Pokemon in Bills PC box. Choose your Pokemon and press OK. Pick up your pokewalker and press the middle button when the SHINY black part is facing the DS CARD. It's really annoying, but you have to keep your hand still. I always put them so they're touching. Be patient and you will get to use your pokewalker!
