yes, but if you find that when you play a note, it takes longer than usual to go through to the game (in other words if its lagging) go to the pause menu. and go to options, then calabarate lag. then follow the onscreen instructions. and make sure you plug in 1 controler at a time. 1st put 1 in, and check if it works, then plug in the other one and chack it then ur ready 2 play!
No, the PS2 needs a receiver programmed to the PS2 guitar, whereas the PS3 is fully controller wireless
yes you can i have all three of them and they all work with the wireless guitar (thank god)
Sadly you cannot... the makers of guitar hero actually didn't know ps2 was online so they made the ps2 version with no online access.
no, I don't think rock band controllers will work on guitar hero, but vice versa will work.
You just plug in the receiver in Port 1. Then you turn on your PS2 and the Guitar and it's receiver will connect by them self..
No it does not. The PS3 dual Shock controller is Bluetooth and different than some other wireless controllers. The PS2 does not have Bluetooth and the controller would not work because the PS2 also does not have the supporting software.

No. Only Rock Band 2 (and I think original Rock Band) controllers are compatible with PS2 and PS3.
No, you can't use controllers between different consoles, but only with the same console. So you can use Guitar Hero PS2 controllers with Rock Band PS2, but not Wii.
yes, all of the guitar hero controllers are compatible within the same console. For example any guitar hero controller made for ps2 will work on any guitar hero game on ps2.
