They will not work on the old Xbox. But if you have a hard drive on your Xbox 360, you can play old Xbox games right on your Xbox 360, and then you can use the Xbox 360 controller to play old Xbox games.
You Can Use USB Hard-Drives But They Wont Be Able To Do The Same Features As The Official Xbox 360 Hard-Drive And You Will Only Be Able To Use 16GB Of Memory.
An Xbox 360 does not really use a "memory card". It uses a hard drive which is located on the top if your Xbox is in a standing position or on the left side if you have your Xbox on its side. Although you can plug in flash drives or anything with a USB plug-in into the slots located on the bottom in the standing position and the front side to the far left in its position on the side.
You cannot use a external hard drive on a Xbox 360 console without modding or formatting the hard drive to work on the console. I would not recommend doing this but if you are wanting to do this anyways, there are many tutorials on youtube.
You can format and use a USB flash drive as an Xbox 360 storage device and store up to 2 terabytes (TB) of content.
If it is compatible for Xbox 360 then you should be able to use it for the Xbox one. There shouldn't be any issues.
For Grand Theft Auto: V, there will be an initial install on Xbox 360 that will require an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or an external 16GB USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space. If using a USB flash drive it must be at least USB 2.0 with a minimum 15mb/s read speed and formatted for Xbox 360 use. A new USB flash drive is recommended to ensure optimum performance.
no you could use modio for your xbox 360 with a flash drive
No you will need a transfer cable to get your memory on a new xbox. Alternatively you can configure an USB flash drive and use that as your memory system

One can upgrade the memory capacity of their xbox 360 buy purchasing the xbox 360 250gb hard drive from a store like amazon. Alternatively one could use a USB flash drive as extra storage.
no
yeah
The question is ambiguous but I think you can. You go to system settings after you have connected your external hard drive. Then go to storage, find the movie from your Xbox's HDD, and select it. Then i think there is a tab called "Copy" or "Move". When you select move, it will come up with a list of your Memory Units for your 360. Select the External one and then your movie is on your External Flash Drive. If you want to get a movie on your Xbox 360 from your flash drive. Just insert the MU(memory unit) and then use the same method and move the file to your 360's HDD.
No you can't.
If by expansion pack you mean memory card there is two slots on the Xbox that allow you to add storage or you can now use a USB flash drive as an expansion of storage.
