Yes, there are a two ways to turn the swearing off in Call of Duty Black Ops.
1. Go to the Options Menu-- Turn off Strong Language and Graphic Content
2. At the start of the game after choosing your Display Settings a prompt asks if you want the "Strong language and graphic content." Click yes or no.
There is currently no option to turn off the killing/maiming.hes right
