Yes, but not always. Remember there is only a limited amount of cards that can be activated during the Damage Step of the battle phase, and Torrential Tribute is not one of them. You cannot use Torrential Tribute in the damage step, and that is where Gorz is special summoned if you trigger him from battle damage (his token is summoned in the damage step too).
However if you trigger him from effect damage and summon him, Torrential Tribute can be used in response - unless you take the effect damage during the damage step, in which case the above still applies.
No. If it is activating the effect to summon a token, that means it is being summoned in the Damage Step of the Damage Phase. Only specific cards can be activated here - even if monsters are special summoned by destroyed Masked Dragons, or Dandylions, or summoned through other effects lik Tragoedia and Gorz, you cannot use summon response cards like Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute. Also, as a side note, it is one trigger that summons Gorz, and then a second trigger that summons the token. So you would need two seperate anti-summon cards, if you could even use them, that is.
No, unless stated otherwise on the card (such as Gorz, Battle Fader) a special summon can only be performed at the same timing as a Normal Summon, ie, in your own main phases when there is no chain in progress.
In general, a monster's effect can only be used while it is face-up on the field. If it can activate in a different zone, such as hand (Gorz, Emissary of Darkness) graveyard (Necro Gardna) or while banished (Stardust Dragon) then it will say so on the card. This is why a card such as Cyber Dragon cannot freely summon itself from the graveyard every time the condition is correct - it summons from hand. Evil HERO Infernal Gainer has no such text, therefore the cost of banishing it to activate its effect, can only be performed while it is face-up on the field.
You can't use Bottomless Trap Hole in the Damage Step of the Battle Phase (the period of play that starts when the defending monster is flipped, to the time monsters destroyed by battle go to the graveyard and anything that triggers from that finishes resolving). But you can't use Call of the Haunted during those times either, so any valid use of Call of the Haunted can have Bottomless Trap Hole used against it if the monster has enough ATK. If Gorz is being summoned outside the Damage Step, then yes, Bottomless Trap Hole can be used against him. If he is being summoned due to battle damage, this is in the Damage Step, so Bottomless Trap Hole can't be used against him.
This is the best. But there won't be all those good band cards u would expect. It has 44cards in the deck. Hope u like it. The deck is really good with a lot of combos. Yes. Like Cyber Dragon, Gorz 'can' special summon himself with his effect, but he is not a 'special summon only' monster, he can be tribute summoned with two tributes, if you want.
No. If it is activating the effect to summon a token, that means it is being summoned in the Damage Step of the Damage Phase. The reason has never been made clear, but all Gorz prints are like that. Yes, limited edition cards have always had gold stickers, but for some reason, Gorz was given a silver one.
The population of Gorz Kol is 33.
André Gorz was born in 1923.
André Gorz died in 2007.
You can buy a used one for just 1p on Amazon or a new one for £1.70
Both Spirit Reaper and Gorz trigger from the same thing, and will form a chain with each other. As the turn player's mandatory effect, after battle damage is dealt, Spirit Reaper's trigger will be chain link 1. Gorz will go on the chain as chain link 2. Gorz's effect will resolve first and summon him to the field, then Spirit Reaper's effect will resolve and the opponent will discard a card if he has any left. Lastly Gorz's second trigger will start a new chain, to summon the token.
All of his effects are Triggers, which are activated effects and use the chain. You can chain Divine Wrath to any of them, to negate and destroy him.
Yes. Summoning Chaos Sorcerer is not an activation unlike the Triggered effects of Gorz or Battle Fader. It does not use the chain, just like Normal Summons. So Light and Darkness Dragon has no interaction with it.
The only monsters who can activate in hand, will specifically say so. They are monsters like Honest, DD Crow, Emissary of Darkness - Gorz, for example. If a card doesn't specify, or at least imply another zone, then it will work only while it is on the field.
