Can you play as a girl on Pokemon Gold?

Unfortunately the earlier generations of the games were really sexist! you cant play as a girl in any of the original games like gold, silver, crystal, yellow etc! I hope this was helpful.

I believe you can play as a girl in Crystal, however. This is why I was shocked when I began Gold for the first time (after playing Crystal). Yes, very sexist- so now I have a boy trainer named Annie! Hope this helps a bit more! ;) Poke-mon-ON!!! :) ;) =) 8-)
