These are the minimum specifications required for a video card to work with whatever product you are reading those statistics from. Many companies have made video cards with those specifications, ask a sales clerk to help you at a computer parts store. Or use the search functions on a computer parts website and you will find a variety of cards that meet or exceed those numbers. Whatever product you are reading those statistics from is asking for a video card with: 256mb of video ram; the ability to use directx 9.0c (or higher) and comply with pixel shader 2.0 technology. Video cards with those specifications have been around for at least 7 years and are on the cheaper end of cards currently available.
You can't download it. Its a program inside the Video Card. I would recomend buying a video card that has Shader model 2.0... Its all in the new video cards for the new era of gaming, etc... I am a big gamer and a storm chaser for The Weather Channel. Vortex 2. I have researched this same question for years in the past and have only found out that it is just a program inside your video card. I use Shader Model 2 for games and for Storm Chasing programs. I bought a video card that supports it for all my laptops and desktops from eBay and Craigslist. You will def. find it cheaper there. But if not, try going to Circuit City, in which they are closing all stores nation wide (Big Clearance Sales). You could also try Best Buy, WalMart, Target or even GameStop... Hope this answered your question... Good Luck.
PShader 2 stands for Pixel Shader 2 Pixel Shader is used for games and is in video cards of gaming systems and consels, including PC Some newer games requier higher Pixel Shader The higher the Pixel Shader the better the graphics Smart Ninja
The nvidia geforce FX series and 6000 series & up all have support for at least 2.0. this is true but not for all geforce series. you would have to have a 2000 to 3000 power on your nvidia grapghic card.
I believe your graphics card must support pixel shader 1.1 in order to play TF2.
Pixel shader technology is hard-coded into your video card and its drivers. While it is possible to emulate pixel shader using software like 3danalyze or swiftshader, these programs only shuffle the workload off to your CPU. Unless you have a hugely powerful system, emulating pixel shader will most likely result in uacceptably low performance and/or system instability. Therefore, your best option is to upgrade your system with a new video card which has pixel shader support built-in.
Pixel Shader capabilities is only found on newer graphics accelerators.
Pixel Shader 2 is a graphics card feature. It is needed in order to play some video games. Typically ones that have a high amount of graphics.
Yes it is. it has Pixel Shader 3.0 and is DX9ccompatible. PS 3.0 so Yup
no
It is not possible, since pixel shader 2 is hardwared into the card. You would not be able to upgrade without changing a graphics card.

Im afraid your best option is to simply replace your video card with one which has native support for pixel shader.
