Put your starter Pokemon in the daycare and the ditto then walk around but you can't stay on the island so leave and come back after a few steps or so then come back and the old man who was outside talk to and he will say he has a Pokemon egg and if you want it, say yes and now hatch the egg by walking alot of steps or put the egg in the first spot in your party then in the second spot put a slugma then start walking eventually your egg will hatch. By the way you can use your bike or run if you want to hatch the egg. When the egg hatches its going to be the first form of your starter Pokemon so it will be either: charmander, bulbasaur or squirtle or if you have the johto starters you get chikorita, totodile, cyndaquil, or if you have the hoenn starters you get torchic, mudkip, treecko.
