No, not at all as the Xbox 360 doesn't have the necessary requirements to do so. As i have spent time researching the matter a year ago, i have found out that the Xbox can only play standard discs up to H.D. as Microsoft haven't bothered to, if you really want to watch blue-ray I would either choose 1 of these two options:
1.get a blue-ray disc player
2. get a ps3 ( i don't recommend this option)
Playback is possible on the 360, but only for certain games. They either have to be rather popular or produced close to the release of the 360.
Gamestop will clean some xBox 360 game discs.
The xbox 360 can badly damage disks if you tilt the xbox from horizontal to vertical (or vice versa) making them to the point of unreadable
The best way to persuade someone to get an Xbox 360 is tell them about the features of the game console. You can explain it will play BluRay movies, has Netflix and other movie services.
The PS3 Dual Shock 3 controller is a Bluray controller for the PS3 exclusively
A DVD will play on the computer because the computers are made to play DVD's. The Xbox 360 will not play DVD's because they are made to only play BluRay discs.
Currently, no. You should get a PS3 to do that.
The Xbox 360 is not Bluray yet
If it works on a DVD player, it works on a xbox 360
There's no point? The Xbox 360 will play any DVD without anything but a controller or a xbox 360 remote
No they do not have BluRay capability on Xbox or Xbox 360! That's why you should get the ps3, because the ps3 does!
xbox 360 PS3 IS THE BEST IT HAS BLURAY.
for igh definiton gaming and video playback.

No and probly will never happen, Toshiba will not make a blu-ray player so Microsoft will not put on in the xbox 360
it should
