No. The only thing that can be used that is wireless is a wireless bridge that connects to the Xbox's ethernet port. Those wireless range extenders typically can be configured as bridges, The problem is, you're not going to figure out how this is done unless you understand some wireless jargon.
I strongly suggest you look into powerline. Check this out: http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/en_US/images/abn/2009/com/pcon/netgear_pwrline/netgear_powerline.swf
You can buy the 85 Mbps version right at Best Buy, and it's the same price as the Xbox wireless adapter.
When looking to buy an Xbox wireless router this may be purchase by visiting websites such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart or Game Stop, Sites such as eBay may have new and used Xbox wireless routers for sale.
All Wired Xbox 360 (Wireless for PC sold as well) Controllers have always been intended for PC use as well as console. There are drivers available, and an API developed by Microsoft called Xinput was designed to allow Windows applications to receive input from the Xbox 360 controller. The original Xbox controllers are also USB-based, but are specially fit for the Xbox 1 and cannot be connected to a PC. It wasn't intended to be used on PC, however they can still be used through third-party adapters or through hacking, as it's technically possible for them to be converted.
You'll buy PC games. The XBox controller can be used with some PC games as a standard video game controller.
No it doesn't. To enable wireless network connection you will need to buy the same adaptor that is used on both the 60GB & Arcade consoles.
Well if you are talking about an x360, you need to purchase a wireless adapter they cost around $100 last time I checked, but worth it. Plugs into the USB port on your xbox and can also be used on a Wii or to boost a PS3 wireless connection (I tried this!).
Wireless game adapters are typically used to allow a video games console to play a specific game via an item that wasn't initially designed to allow this game to be played. An example of this is a Windows laptop playing an Xbox 360 game via a wireless game adapter when initially this game was designed for a different platform entirely.
They are all the same price. Do not get any third party wireless adapters because they are not as good.
no.
Yes. However, very few wireless adapters are compatible with Windows 95.
Wireless adapters (i.e. infrared, bluetooth, and 802.1 protocols.) are used as communication links and syncs between two or more devices. In essences, a wireless( 802.1) USB device/adapters allows communication from a device (pc/computer) to a network (router;i.e. linksys) or other device (xbox 360) by using the usb 2.0 format.
If you are looking for the best deal on USB wireless adapters I would recommend www.bestbuy.com or www.amazon.com. Amazon offers a variety of used and new adapters at very affordable prices. And while Best Buy only offers new adapters, their prices are also very reasonable.
The best place find some wireless adapters is at any store that sells computers. You can also go online to EBay and find some new and used ones, with a good return policy.

USB Network Adapters connect to the USB port on your computer and make wireless networks possible. You can find USB Network Adapters online on sites like Amazon or you can go to your local Wal-Mart or BestBuy.

Wireless adapters (USB or not) are good for connecting to wireless networks (aka WLAN or WiFi).
This is one of the reasons why I don't like this wireless adapter. It can only be used for an Xbox. There is another technology called powerline that can be used to replace wireless. Check this out: http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/en_US/images/abn/2009/com/pcon/netgear_pwrline/netgear_powerline.swf You can get this right at Best Buy and it costs the same as the Xbox wireless adapter.
