Well, you need to check with the Day-Care guy first. If he says,"Your Latios and Latias are doing well. They prefer to play with other Pokemon than each other."You're absolutely not going to have an egg. Unless it says something else. And you don't wait. You have to walk like 300 - 400 steps. And then an egg will appear. And then walk like 3,000 - 5,000 steps to hatch it. I know from experience. I just tried it.
It is impossible to breed Latias and Latios without the aid of a ceat code. The two eon Pokemon are classified as legendary Pokemon which means, regardless of their gender, they cannot produce an egg. The only exception to this date is Manaphy, who is only able to produce a Pokemon which is not another Manaphy or even its pre-evolution.
