CAN you EVOLVE evee in a Espeon or umbreon in Pokemon Green leaf?

no you cant get umbreon since the only way to them is to evolve them at. night
but you can get espeon by training him until your friendship is strong or at its best and trainig him. you can check how strong youre friendship is in the place where you start the game in garys house talk to his sister and she will tell you
PS she only tells you if you've already beaten the Pokemon league

In Gale of Darkness you will need to obtain a Moon Shard from a sailor inside a shop in Gateon Port. With the shard you can evolve the Eevee you start off with by utilizing it in battle several times and as long as the item is held by the player, Eevee will evolve to Umbreon. You can then trade it later on after finishing the game.
