well, the valiant comics take place after the adventure of link, which is the last event on the fallen hero timeline. Also there is no information about what happened after that. So because this is the only information we have about the events afterward, you could say its non-canon, but again, we don't know what happened, the comics could be totally wrong. I guess it just depends on how you look at it.
