You know, I think it's more common than those of us who are missing knuckles would think! Just a quick YouTube search shows other people out there who are missing knuckles (from birth). I only noticed that I'm missing mine when I was 9 or 10! And, another oddity, it usually makes your finger really short. Soo I want to know also who else is missing their knuckles so I've started a Facebook page so we can try and see who else is out there. If you're missing knuckles too, the page is "Who has my knuckles?" You should join!

A doctor suggested that I get prosthetic knuckles when I was in high school but there was no point since I have never noticed a significant issue or problem from my lack of knuckles. The only issues I have are cosmetic as I cannot wear rings on my fingers and the ring finger is significantly shorter than the middle finger.
