The answer, of course, is that it depends! For me, a great club is one that offers red and white wine together, that has longevity and transparency - that is, they'll actually tell you the wines they have delivered. I currently subscribe to winemonthclub.com's premiere series with one red and one white. I will probably switch to 2 different reds since my wife and I both drink red and she drinks white occasionally.
