Cool Whip is measured in Net "Weight", not Fluid Oz's so 4 oz of coolwhip equal 1 cup.
Small = 8oz; large = 12 oz; Jumbo = 16 oz
By volume 1 pint, as for contents, there is no cream or dairy in cool whip it is a petrochemical byproduct floor wax and dessert topping.
8oz by weight or volume? by volume 8oz is 1 cup. By weight every ingredient would be different I imagine 8oz by weight of cool whip would be a lot since its just whipped oil. ** According to Kraft's webpages, 8 oz of cool whip is about 3 cups (important to know if you're making the jello cool whip pie and didn't get the smaller tub of cool whip!). :)
No its not. Cool whip is a topping, whipping cream is an ingredient.
Cool Whip is considered a solid.
If cool whip isn't frozen, then it should be refrigerated.
About 16
I have seen two separate sources saying that an 8-oz. package of Cool Whip contains 3 cups. That's 2 2/3 oz (weight) per cup (volume). If you assume fluid ounces, that's about 227 grams in about 826 ml, for about .275 gm/ml (or 275 grams per liter). Given the accuracy of the source information, that'll have to be good enough :-)
Cool Whip
Yes, it will still be good. Cool whip does not have any milk in it. It will keep for many days if kept in the refrigerator.
