The answer is sort of a situational answer. OK, I agree that they will probably/hopefully come out with a 4th Left Behind movie. But, Tim LaHaye filed a law suite against the people who produced the first three films and he won the title rights.
He may or may not produce another movie, it depends on if Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins want to go with the movies. It is their call on whether or not to produce a fourth, or to just start the entire thing over, or just scrap the idea all together.
If he does I think it will end up being better. All that I know is that the movies will definitely not be produced by Cloud Ten Pictures.
I went to cloud ten's website and found that it was in production but no other information was given as far as a release date or any info on the script. However it did go on to say that the original cast would be returning.
Cloud Ten Pictures just finished their legal dispute with Tim LaHaye. According to their website, they have started some sort of a pre-production. It is officially unkown, but it is currently guessed to be summer 2011 or early 2012. The film would probably be released to theaters, the first time since the first Left Behind.
