Probably not. But there will likely be derivatives, or even remakes.

The movies are based on the books by J R R Tolkien. The story from those books is completely told in the trilogy. They can, however, make a movie on any of his other books which are related to Lord of the Rings.

There was a similar trio of movies for The Hobbit, which is a prequel to The Lord of the Rings. These films appeared in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

No, but in 2010, a film based on the book 'The Hobbit' by J.R.R. Tolkien will be released. A sequel to the film will be made sometime in 2011. No, The Lord of the Rings has been completed. They are working on The Hobbit, which is a prequel of sorts to LotR. There are some other stories of Middle Earth that Tolkien wrote that could be put on film, but most don't have the scope and narrative to fit film.
Yes and no. Very soon, The Hobbit (The prequel to LOTR) is being made. They are making the movie into two parts.

It is highly unlikely that there will ever be another installment of Lord of the Rings because they were all written by JRR Tolkien and well, he is dead now. But there are some unfinished works of his to do with the world of Middle Earth that have become published. The Similarion is one example of this, and there is a small chance that another portion of unfinished works might be published, due to the help of Tolkien's son; Christopher. But it is quite certain that there will never be another book added to the current Trilogy

Highly unlikely. Although somewhat shortened, the movies pretty much cover what was in the books. With no books left (and the author dead) making another movie tagged on to the end would be quite weird.

There might be a prequel though, there's one book that takes place before the LOTR that might get turned into a movie.

No, as it is part of a trilogy consisting of

1. The Fellowship Of The Ring

2. The Two Towers

3. The Return Of The King.

There is, however, a prequel to the events of 'The Lord Of The Rings' called The Hobbit, which is being turned into a film.
