In the original series, no, there won't be another book, because the author (Tolkien) died, but there will probably be plenty more Lord of the Rings-related books by different authors.

There cannot be any as the Tolkien estate tightly controls the copyright. However his son Christopher has edited and published many of his father's unfinished manuscripts of Elvish Mythology & History. The first being the Silmarillion.

There is not a sequel 'book' to 'The Lord of the Rings,' but there are the appendices, which go into many details of what happened with the characters after the war of the ring.

No, Return of the King is the last book in the trilogy The Lord of the Rings. There is no more after that.

In the chronology of Middle Earth, there is no book after it. However, The Silmarillion was published after LotR.
