They both think that one another is more capable in surviving The Hunger Games and they don't like that fact. Hard to describe.. Made them guilty or uneasy in a way. They don't what to think of either of them dying.
Peeta talks about how he wants to prove to the Capitol that he is better than them in the arena. Katniss is angry because she feels Peeta is being high and mighty. Also, she isn't able to think that way, because she has Prim waiting at home for her, so she resents him slightly for being able to think that and entertain that idea. Another point is that Katniss views Peeta's idea as "giving up". She thinks that is a stupid and careless idea, and is angry for his stupidity.
Claudius Tempelsmith announces in the arena that two tributes will be aloud to win, if they are from they same district. Katniss finds Peeta and they Alley up until the end. When it gets down to three tributes remaining, Cato, Peeta, & Katniss, the Game makers send out mutts ,that are mutated from the dead tributes, into the arena to heat things up again. Cato, Katniss, & Peeta are chased into the cornucopia when a mutt cuts a gash in Peetas leg. Cato takes hold of Peeta and Katniss shots and arrow at Cato's hand, causing him to fall to his slow, painful death by mutts. Once Peeta and Katniss are the only ones left, Claudius Tempelsmith announces that they looked over the rule book and rules are rules. So out of an act of love/rebellion, Katniss pulls out night-lock and threaten for both of them to commit suicide. Just as the Berry's get in there mouths, Claudius Tempelsmith says "Stop! Stop! Ladies and gentlemen, i am pleased to present the victors of the 74th Hunger Games Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark! I give you-- the tributes of District Twelve!". Katniss and Peeta then spit out the night lock and are taken to the capitol. Before Peeta and Katniss are reunited on stage in front of the entire Capitol to be broadcast live to all of Panem, Haymitch tells Katniss that the Capitol isn't pleased with her and Peeta's attempt at double suicide, but as it was her idea, she'd be the one to pay the consequences. He explains to her that she must tell everyone that it was her love for Peeta that made her want to eat the berries in an effort to get the Capitol to believe that it wasn't actually an act of rebellion like they think, though Katniss is conflicted and does not know the real reason why she did it. On their way back home to District Twelve, Katniss hints to Peeta that the way she acted toward Peeta (in love) was "all for the games." Peeta becomes upset and hurt and escapes to his room on the train until they arrive home and must play the "star-crossed lovers" angle once again. Katniss misses Peeta, even in that short time, because she realizes she really does care for him but she's not sure in what way. She says she doesn't "want to lose the boy with the bread."
On the train, Katniss felt angry, scared, and annoyed. She knew that she wanted to win, for her sister and district, but she knew it would be nearly impossible. She didn't want to give the capitol satisfaction or anyone for that. That is why she totally disregarded anything Peeta would say and ask her. p.s. I <3 Peeta
Every night in the games the anthem will go on, and then they will project the faces of the kids who were killed that day. So I believe eight kids died that day in the Cornicopia.
It's most likely that Katniss named her baby girl; Rue. Because she talks about her through the entire series. And most likely the boy Gale. In my opinion, I don't think they would name the boy Gale, since of what happened with Prim and all that sad stuff. It just doesn't sound like somehting Katniss would wants, especially since she seems so upset about the whole thing. But it's possible. I've heard that the Little girl will be named Rue and the boy Haymitch
Peta is upset because he was taken away from hs family and friends to compete to the death
katniss got mad with peeta because when rue didnt answer her call, rue ended up dying. so when peeta didnt answer her call, she thought peeta died. katniss got mad because he didnt answer her call. katniss was trying despretly to pretect peeta so when katnis htought peeta died, she got so upset
Peeta is a boy that is in love with Katniss. He is the male tribute from district 12 for the hunger games. Katniss pretends to love him during the game so that she wins sponsors (people who like you and donate gifts to you while you play) from the audience. Peeta finds out later that Katniss was faking her feelings and gets upset.
well at the start katniss and peeta still act to be in love infront of the cameras and when the quarter quell is announced katniss is really upset. When they go for interviews peeta tells the world that katniss is pregnant. In the quarter quell katniss teams up with finnick, johanna, nuts and volts. There was a plan to escape the arena and peeta got taken to the capitol, meanwhile the others apart from johanna got taken back to district thirteen. At the end Gale tells katniss there is no district twelve.

She can't really sort out her feelings for Peeta, but she surely has some feelings of love for him. He has REALLY TRUELY loved her from the start and is upset when she tells him it was only a game. Then, when they hijack him, they totally upset the memories!
Everyone on the train has breakfast, Katniss and Peeta train for the Games. Katniss sees a little girl named Rue, that reminds her of Prim. Katniss goes in for her private training with the Gamemakers. She shows off her archery skills, but when some of the Gamemakers are more interested in their food than her, she send an arrow right into the apple in the mouth of the roast pork sitting on their table, pinning it to the wall.

Because since he's a constant drunk (it's his only way to wash away the memories of when he won the Hunger Games) and they kept trying to get him to do his job as being a mentor to them.
well....probably because he didn't tell them about the secret district 13...a place where they were thinking of a way to capture the capitol (and everyone hated the capitol in district 13) ...(catching fire and mockingjay) they were also mad because they was just part of a plan and were being played by Haymith, the only one they trusted in the capitol...everyone else including some tributes (who were allies with Haymitch) knew about the plan the plan was to stop and interfere with the quater quell and cause chaos before attacking the capitol! ... later Haymitch told them he was keeping it a secret from just Peeta and Katniss because he was afraid they wont act or "play" it well and it wouldn't look real...he thought they might even get caught... from the books catching fire and mockingjay!

I feel Katniss have a right to be upset with Haymith because he doesn't have a good attitude. He often doesn't let Katniss and others let do anything. He also has some bad attitude which is not acceptable.
