Mona wants to torture the 'Pretty Little Liars' because she tried to befriend the group and Alison bullied her and treated her like trash. The other girls (Aria, Emily, Hanna & Spencer) also treated Mona poorly, because Alison did.

its not aly. it's Hannah's, supposedly best friend, Mona. she gets mad and took aly's diary when Emily's girlfriend moved in to the house and she threw out all of aly's things. so Mona took it and is tormenting the girls.
