Horror movies that really get under your skin and affect you to the point to where you would really get uneasy are ones that employ things that disgust all of us on a base level, and vomit and things such as this, are things that all people find disgusting and gross.

I'm not an expert but generally guys are interesting in typical male stuff like cars science aircraft etc etc etc... and boys are (were talking around 11-13 they like swearing, girls R13 movies and horror and stuff so yeah, give that a shot
Think of scary stuff, like ghosts, vampires, zombies, witches, strange occurences, night time... But in the end it really depends on what your age is and what your looking for. It could be a horror mystery, or a silent horror, or a ghost story, or a slasher, or something that just has horror themes.
