Nobody knows. Not even the creaters. Some people say that he is of slender kind, which means that he will kill everyone he sees, even if he wants to. Some people say that he knocks you out and then kills you. I personally think that he kills you by broadcasting into your brain and turns you into the next slender and he dies and hes out of his misery. Then you are the next slender waiting to kill the next poor person to go into the forest of the slenders.
There are no real slendermen in real life, and if there were it'd probably be illegal to kill them. :P
